His Highness Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan is also Chairman of the Board at The Centre of Excellence for Applied Research and Training, President of the National Council of Tourism and Antiquities of the United Arab Emirates and Honorary President of the Future Centre for Special Needs.

In 1983-2013, His Highness Sheikh Nahayan was the Chancellor of the United Arab Emirates University and held the same post at the Higher Colleges of Technology in 1988-2013. Also was the Chancellor of Zayed University.

Sheikh Nahayan is the owner of Dhabi Group—one of the leading business groups in the United Arab Emirates. Dhabi Group operates in a variety of fields, including tourism, construction, real estate, development and management, production, marine boreholes, banking and financial services, etc. 

The group made its first investment in Georgia back in 2007, in Kor Standard Bank (now Terabank) and Biltmore Hotel Tbilisi.

His Highness Sheikh Nahayan studied in the United Kingdom. He attended the Millfield School and Magdalen College at the Oxford University. He has obtained numerous degrees at a variety of universities around the world.
 

Abhijit has a background of more than 40 years in the banking sector. This period covered careers with ANZ Grindlays Bank in India, Arab Banking Corporation in Bahrain, National Bank of Abu Dhabi in the UAE, and finally with the Central Bank of the UAE. During this period he has held various management and board level positions. Specifically, some of his responsibilities were as Group Chief Risk Officer and interim CEO at National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD), Group Chief Risk Officer at First Abu Dhabi Bank, and Advisor to the Governor of the Central Bank of the UAE. Abhijit has also held Board positions at NBAD subsidiaries.

Abhijit holds a Masters degree in Economics from the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India.

Before joining terabank’s Supervisory Board, he was actively involved in the development of credit and non-credit products

for corporations and SME businesses as well as risk management improvement for banking and financial institutions.

Seit Devdariani studied at Ivane Javaskhishvili Tbilisi State University in 1977-1982 and holds a Master’s degree in

Mathematical Sciences.

He studied Bank Financial Management at the American Banking Institute in Washington in 2004-2005 and Banking at the University of Pennsylvania in 2005-2007. In 2007, Seit Devdariani obtained a Master’s degree in Strategic Management at

Indiana University.

Before joining terabank, he was responsible for improving the organizational functionality and technical facilitation of

business enterprises at a Netherlands-based investment management company.

He has held numerous leading positions at a US-based financial services company where he was responsible for the

standardization of business processes and technologies as a global adviser.

Gerlof de Korte obtained his Master’s degree in Organizational Development at Amsterdam University.

He has also attended educational programs at Harvard and Edinburgh Business Schools.
 

Nana has previously managed investments for Finance in Motion GmbH and held the Chief Executive Officer position at TBC Leasing. She was also a member of the Rhea and Credo Microfinance supervisory boards and the Deputy Corporate Banking Director at TBC Bank.

Nana Mikashavidze graduated from the European School of Management. She has taken part in numerous professional conferences and has attended a variety of trainings.
