The Hotel and wellness resort «Castello Mare» is located in a magnificent place with the tropical plants on the territory of Tsikhisdziri, 17 kilometers away from the Batumi capital, republic of Adjara, Georgia. On the Black Sea coast, this place is familiar to many visitors as the resort Tsikhisdziri, where till 1991 with huge popularity was functioning sanatorium “Nauka”.
 
However, the history of the development of this place precedes to the 20th century, when on a rocky ledge was built first building distinguished by its beauty called – «Castello Mare», meaning “The Sea Castle” or “The Castle over the Sea” from Italian. After 100 years, second birth of the building took place, when instead of an old castle appeared brand-new «Castello Mare» in the form of romantic castle over the sea. Nowadays, the Complex consists of 90 rooms providing wide opportunity for a various types of relaxation and health services. For the guests, the complex offers 8 different room categories – the Villa on the sea and the Presidential Suite in oriental style. The complex has outdoor and indoor swimming pools, spa, restaurant, and outdoor café bar on the terrace as well as on the beach.
